♦Strengthen tooth structure

The enamel strength of children is stronger than that of adults, and they are more prone to caries. In addition, children are unable to control their own diet and oral care, and improper oral hygiene can cause a layer of food residue to form on the surface of the teeth, which can calcify over time. This layer is called plaque. Bad bacteria that cause tooth decay inhabit this plaque and release acids that dissolve mineralized tooth structures like enamel and dentin, causing tooth decay. Topical application of fluoride to tooth enamel creates a thin protective layer that reduces demineralization and prevents caries.
